National Defense Training Program Started.

The Vocational Agriculture Department of West high school announces vocational shop in metal working. Two courses have been started in the classes are being taught daily. These are from 1 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. All boys in this vicinity between the ages of 18 to 25 inclusive, are eligible to enroll in this course. The average attendance at present is 22 and an increase is anticipated. These courses are under the supervision of M. T. Smith, superintendent and D. D. Davidson, vocational agriculturist. H. A. Norwood is instructor. A part-time teacher is to be added soon.
