MR. JAMES W. BUCKLIN, the member of the legislature from the district comprising Gunnison, Delta, Montrose and Mesa counties, arrived in the city yesterday, and he will remain permanently during the winter. Mr. Bucklin comes from Grand Junction, where he is engaged in the practice of the law and is looked upon as one of the sterling and worthy men of his district. He is a Republican, was elected purely on his personal merits, owes nothing to any man or faction and will be one of the most valuable members on the floor of the legislature during the session.—Denver Times 20th.
