Justice of the Peace Society---William H. Wood and Jack Woodall, two gentlemen belonging to the 'fancy,' had a dispute at 'a main' or chicken-fight, which came off at Sandy Hook on Saturday last. Since that time, Mr. Woodall has been making serious threats against the safety and well-being of Mr. Wood-the latter individual concluding that 'discretion was the better part of valor,' waited on the Mayor yesterday, and made oath, that he believed his person was in danger of assault at the hands of Jack Woodall and his friends. Under these circumstances, his Honor bound Mr. Woodall over in the sum of $100 to keep the peace, and be of good behavior for the next twelve months.
