Letters from Smyrna, by the Way of Leghorn, bring Advice, that Sari Bey-Oglow still persists in his Rebellion against the Grand Signior; that he is fortifying the principal Places in his Possession; assumes the Right of coining Money; and that the Inhabitants of 400 Villages in those Parts have sided with him. They add, that this Rebellion causes a great Consternation among the Inhabitants of Smyrna; and that they doubt whether the Bashaw with three Tails, whom the Grand Seignior has sent thither with 3000 Men, will be able to undertake any Thing against the Rebels.
