Membership Largest in History; Group Sings Every Sunday Morning

Trinity Lutheran church's choir now has its largest membership in history, with 35 voices, it is announced by Rev. Opie S. Rindahl, pastor. In the group, which presents music for regular services each Sunday morning, are 16 men and 19 women. Special men's and women's octettes are being organized to present musical features one Sunday evening each month, Rev. Rindahl said. The choir is directed by Mrs. Rindahl, while Miss Marie Lemohn plays organ accompaniments. Sunday morning during regular services the choir will sing, Wennerberg's setting for the Twenty-Fourth Psalm, "Lift Up Your Heads," with Miss Grace Livdahl singing the contralto obbligato. Seventeen children are members of Trinity's junior choir, which is directed by Miss Maude A. Tollefson. This choir provides special music for one evening service each month and, assisted by the Singers' Guild, presents a half hour of sacred music on the second Sunday evening each month. Because of a conflict, the junior choir will not sing this month until the 22nd. Ruth Saxvik is accompanist for the junior group.
