HAWAIIAN BOARD WORK
The services at Central Union church
Sunday morning were devoted to the
presentation of the work of the Hawaiian Board. The church was filled
with interested people. The platform
and walls were decorated with banners
representing the different native
churches and schools in these Islands
and on the sides of the church were
large tablets giving the history of the
Board and the financial statement.
In front of the organ was a large map
of the Islands with the places where
the Hawaiian Board has established
missions indicated by marks.
After a prayer by Rev. Sereno Bishop
followed by responsive reading, led by
Rev. J. Leadingham. Then came the
presentation of the work of the Board.
Rev. O. P. Emerson opening this part
of the service.
An address by Rev. W. M. Kincaid
closed the services.
