Howard Baxter, who was accused by Susie Fehr, the girl who committed suicide by drinking carbolic acid Friday night, of being responsible for her condition, was subpoenaed today by Detective Edward Cronan at his home at John street and West avenue to appear at a hearing to be held this afternoon at 3:30 by Coroner Wilson. Baxter is the only witness to be examined.
Dr. Barry, house physician at St. Vincent's hospital, after an examination found that the girl was not in the condition she supposed she was. Miss King, the probation officer, has had the girl in her charge several times, she being wayward. Her father has again and again left his work in Ansonia and came to this city to bring her home, but before long she was back in her old haunts in this city again.
Her remains were buried this afternoon in St. Michael's cemetery.
