Handkerchief Contributed by President's Wife Netted $121.
Dallas, Tex., Feb. 21.—Mrs. W. A. Calloway, one of the directors of the Dallas Free Kindergarten association, has written the following letter to Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt, thanking her for the handkerchief sent to be sold for the benefit of the kindergarten building fund:
"The Dallas Free Kindergarten association desires to thank you for your kind remembrance, by which they were enabled to realize the magnificent sum of $121 for their building fund. Your gift netted more than any other contribution, the proceeds of the entertainment being more than $2,500. I wish also to express my personal thanks for your prompt response to my request. Most faithfully,
"ISADORE S. CALLOWAY."
