ARRIVAL OF THE AMERICA.
The Cunard Royal mail steamer America arrived at New York Friday night, at about 10 o'clock. She brings London papers to the evening of November 21 and Liverpool papers to the 22d, two days later than those by the Humboldt.
The following was communicated by telegraph, just prior to the sailing of the steamer:
London, Friday evening, Nov. 21.
Paris, Thursday morning.—The correspondent of the Constitutionnel at Constantinople states that private letters from Tiflis bring the news of a fresh and terrible defeat sustained by the Russians in Circassia.
