JUNEAU (AP) - The U. S. Office of Education informed Alaska's Congressional Delegation that $79,952 in federal funds have been authorized for use in construction of an addition to the elementary School at Nome.
The federal aid is being granted under Public Law 815 providing for government financial aid to school districts affected by federal activities.
The information was wired to the Associated Press at Juneau by Sens. E. L. Bartlett and Ernest Gruening and Rep. Ralph Rivers of Alaska.
