Cef De Caney, Filipino, shot and killed a man at 1236 Main St. Saturday about 9 a. m., and seriously wounded his wife, Grace.
Following the shooting De Caney surrendered to Attorney Beardsley at his home. The attorney immediately surrendered him to the police.
Mrs. Grace Decaney, 32, who was shot by her husband Saturday, has much improved at King County Hospital. Hospital attendants reported her condition was fair. She received surgery and a blood transfusion at the hospital following the shooting.
Decaney is held without charge following the wounding of his wife and the fatal shooting of Tony Phillips, 38, a club employee.
Detective August D. Schmeiser said this week Decaney would be asked if he would donate blood to the King County Blood Bank if arrangements could be made.
Following the shooting Saturday in a hotel at 1236 Main St. Decaney, 45, a Filipino cannery worker, told detectives he had shot his wife accidentally.
The couple's three small children, two girls, 4 and 7 years old, and a boy, 17 months old, were held at the juvenile detention home this week. They were ordered picked up by police for safe-keeping following the shooting.
