The State Prison at Concord, N. H., is evidently the felon's paradise. Witness the following particulars recently brought to light by an investigating committee of the New Hampshire Legislature. It appears from their report that one of the prisoners, Delany, was allowed to keep three horses in the stables and allowed to go out to curry them. His wife was also there, and she and her husband were allowed to occupy the "parlor chamber," the best room in the house. Another prisoner was detailed to cut the Warden's hay in a neighboring town, and a woman who had been convicted of murder, was allowed to get out on the streets of Concord to get her teeth "filled!"
