Mighty Deer Hunter.
Our alleged mighty deer hunters among the men should lay away their fowling pieces, and seek the retirement that comes with old age. A number of them have been out this year trying to bag a deer, but they have returned empty handed. Last Sunday Mrs. Geo. Jackson donned her khaki suit, shouldered her rifle and hied away to the mountains, and returned Monday bringing in a fine big buck, resuming her usual household duties as though nothing unusual had happened. When a man kills a deer he brings it in a car, and wants to parade around town with a brass band.
