Oyster Bay, L. I., Sept. 14—There have been no new developments in the case of the Russian auxiliary cruiser at San Francisco, so far as can be ascertained here today. It seems reasonably certain that the vessel will be dismantled and ordered to remain where she is now until the conclusion of the Russo-Japanese war, though a possibility exists that she may be ordered to depart after making urgent repairs.
As the weather was too disagreeable for out of doors pleasures President Roosevelt passed the greater part of today in his library attending to government business and personal correspondence.
Bellamy Storer, American Ambassador to Austro-Hungary, who is in this country on leave, will be a guest of the president today.
