Mopac Withdraws Bus Application

Notice of withdrawal of the application of the Missouri-Pacific Transportation Co. for a certificate to operate a motor bus line over various Valley roads, not now covered by bus routes, was received Monday by the McAllen chamber of commerce and other interested parties from the motor transportation division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.

Withdrawal of the application will leave 13 applications on the docket to be heard at McAllen June 6. No reason for the withdrawal and dismissal of the application was given.
