They write from Petersburg, that an Express is arrived there from Astracan, with Advice, that their Ships, richly laden with Persian Goods, are sailed homewards: That the new Shah of Persia, Solomon Daub, has made divers Alterations in the Forms of Government, and also settled Trade with the Europeans, very much to the Advantage of the latter.
And according to some Dispatches from Prince Gallitzin, the Russian Minister at Ispahan, Solomon Daub proposes to send an Embassy to the Empress.
These Advices mention the Progress of the Georgian Prince, it is uncertain which of the Pretenders to the Persian Throne he will support.
