Scarlet Fever at Navarre.
Navarre, March 29.-An epidemic of scarlet fever prevails in this city and despite the precaution taken by the local authorities to prevent its spreading, the number of cases is steadily increasing.
All winter the disease kept spreading but not until now has the epidemic assumed a serious aspect.
Three deaths have been reported so far as resulting from the disease.
Scores of homes are quarantined to prevent spreading of the fever. Yesterday six new cases were reported, and the whole town is becoming alarmed over the seriousness of the epidemic.
