Brigadier General L. H. Bash, Q. M. C. U. S. A., who with his family is spending the holidays in Key West, will make a visit to Dry Tortugas this week, accompanied by Mrs. Bash and daughter and Lieutenant Alvin R. Moore, Q. M. C., reserves.
The trip is to be made on the lighthouse tender Ivy which left Tampa Bay at noon today and is due in port late tomorrow afternoon. The trip to Tortugas and Fort Jefferson will be started about 10 o'clock tomorrow night, it is expected.
General Bash and Lieutenant Moore are today guests on board the tender Poppy which is on a tour of inspection of aids to navigation in the vicinity of Key West.
