The board of commissioners of Custer county met in regular session yesterday at 10 a. m., for the transaction of public business. All the members present. It was moved and seconded that the board proceed to examine and audit the bills presented against the county, which was carried.
The following bills were allowed and warrants ordered to be issued for the same, on
GENERAL FUND:
J. F. Maloney, attorney fees...$50
Miles & Strevel, merchandise 161 36

The following bills, however, met with reverses and were dis-allowed:-
James H. Grummett, taking care of Harcum............... 5 00
A. T. Wilson, services as Justice of Peace................ 5.00

Next were considered the bids and proposals for furnishing poor house and prisoners with medicines and medical attendance, coal and wood for poor house and court house, and taking care of and nursing the poor and infirm of the county,
Dr. J. Jay Wood, M. D., offers to
furnish medicines and medical attendance for the poor and sick of the county and for the prisoners in jail for the sum of $1,200.
Dr. R. G. Redd, M. D., will care for the sick and infirm and furnish medicines and medical attendance for the sum of $800.
J. G. Mackenzie's bid for the sick and poor for the ensuing year was at the rate of $6 per capita per week and $15 per each burial.
John Minnick's bid to furnish good pine wood was $8 per cord.
John Gibbs bid to deliver coal at the court house for $6.00 per ton and $7.00 delivered at poor house.
It was then moved and seconded that the bids be considered Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m.
The board then listened to the reports from the following roads in the county: Stone's road; Powder River road, Pumpkin Creek road, Eureka Valley road, Sunday Creek road and Pease Bottom road. Mr. A. H. Dalrymple was appointed by the board surveyor of the Tongue River road, covering the district from Miles City to Cooksey's Springs. E. P. Rowe was appointed supervisor and viewer, W. O. Decker supervisor and viewer and Henry Miller viewer of the roads of Tongue River and vicinity.
The board received a petition signed by twenty-five citizens of Terry setting forth their claim for a school district for that Township, which the commissioners granted.
Board adjourned to meet at 9 a.m. to-day.
