Henry Blount Last Night and Tonight.

Mr. Henry Blount, the well-known famous and eloquent lecturer, is here under the auspices of the Teachers Institute. Last night in the courthouse he delivered his lecture on "Wit and Humor, Eloquence and Oratory," and it was highly enjoyed by all present. Mr. Blount shows the relation and the difference in these characteristics of speech in a most forceful and entertaining way, mainly by illustration. There is only one Blount and he is in a class by himself. He jumps from the most scintillating wit to the deepest pathos, and the language is his plaything. His hearers roll in laughter and then instantly are called upon to dry a tear away as other cords are touched.

Tonight Mr. Blount will give his lecture on Rip Van Winkle and while it is good for everybody, the children are especially invited. The price for school children is ten cents and for adults twenty cents.
