Imported Stock.--A gentleman named Smoot, from Kentucky, arrived in this city on Saturday evening with about 20 head of Durham and Devonshire cattle, some very fine sheep, fine dogs, and a noble stallion, direct importations by himself from England. They drew great crowds of admirers Sunday and Monday until the steamer Jacob Poe, upon which they were shipped for Louisville, had taken her departure. Mr. S. has been at great expense in making these additions to the stock of the country, and should meet a good reward.
