CHARLESTON, June 27.

On Saturday last the committee appointed to receive subscriptions, for the benefit of those citizens who were burnt out at the late fire on the 19th inst. met at the State House, when it appeared that £2500l. had been received in cash, and that the subscriptions not yet paid in will at least amount to a sum equal thereto. A number of applications were received from citizens requiring assistance. A distribution we understand, will be made by the committee, as soon as correct accounts of the losses can be obtained.
