The livery stable of H. C. Springer Buffalo, N Y., was entirely destroyed by fire at 3 o'clock yesterday morning. The building was formerly occupied as a roller skating rink. The flames spread with such rapidity that two employes, named John Burkhardt and Richard Brennan. were unable to escape, and were suffocated Their charred bodies were afterwards taken from the ruins. That of Brennan was found in the bunk in which he was sleeping when the fire broke out. Fred Springer, a brother of the proprietor, had a narrow escape and was considerably injured. Twenty-two horses were burned to death, including 10 livery and 12 boarding. Total loss estimated at $25,000 to $30,000. Insurance about $10,000.
