Prof. Masayo Pamcechi, instructor in agricultural engineering and a member of the faculty of the Kyushu Imperial University at Kyushu, Japan, spent Saturday in El Centro, in company with officials of the Imperial Valley Irrigation District.

Treasurer R. H. Maddux conducted the distinguished visitor to various interesting points adjacent to the city in the morning. In company with other officials Prof. Pamcechi inspected the heading at Andrade and other points along the river, in the afternoon. He went to Yuma Sunday to inspect the irrigation in that section.

Prof. Pamcechi is making a tour of California in the interests of the university studying irrigation conditions in this country to be applied later in Japan.
