Full Text

It is confidently hoped that Wolfe county will soon spring into great prominence as an oil producer. The indications point to that direction. The sensible farmers are giving leases on their land. At an early date wells are to be bored on the farms of W. L. Hurst and S. M. Tutt, and all are hopeful that gushers will be found. Then the farmers who now prefer to lag blindly in the old rut of behind times, will get their eyes opened to the flashlights of their own individual interests. It seems all should now climb into the bandwagon and do all in their might to bring to the surface the hidden wealth of our county.
