Nag's Head Convention.—A Convention of gentlemen from the Counties on Albemarle Sound, and the Roanoke river, was held at Plymouth on the 22d ult., to adopt measures to obtain from Congress an appropriation for the improvement of Nags Head. A large number of delegates were in attendance, and speeches were delivered by Hon. David Outlaw, Gen. Ehringhaus, and others, in favor of the project. A committee was appointed to obtain names to petitions to Congress on this subject. The Convention adjourned to meet again at Elizabeth City on the 31st of October next.—ib.
