Lovely Joan Shaw, ex-Miamian who made good in show business, had a happy homecoming Sunday when she appeared on the stage of the Bunche theatre in a show headlined by Arthur Prysock.

Miamians turned out in large numbers to welcome Joan back home and see her steal the show with her inimitable song styling.

Joan was a steady feature in Rockland Palace floorshows here until her lilting melodies caught the attention of talent scouts five years ago. Since then she has been a terrific hit on records and in night clubs where she has appeared.
