The Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America will conduct a Cub leaders pow-wow Wednesday, November 19, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Jesse Mae Jones Elementary School.
The pow-wow will be divided into three sections. One, games and ceremonies, which will be done by Pack 302 of Thomasville Elementary School under the leadership of Miss Reba Wilson and Miss Dorothy Cower. The administration and record keeping section will be handled by Ralph C. Robinson. The feature of the pow-wow will be the craft section under the supervision of Mrs. Avon Hunt, area supervisor of arts and crafts. Mrs. Hunt is noted for her ability in the arts and crafts field, and she will instruct the Den mothers. All Den mothers in the city are invited to take this instruction in Cubbing.
The business meeting of the Atlanta Area Council will be held Tuesday, November 25, at the Life of Georgia Building. All institutional representatives are urged to attend.
Twenty-five Scouters from the Atlanta Area Council will journey Saturday morning to Griffin, Ga., for a training session in Council operations. The group will leave the Scout Office, 167 Walton Street, N.W., at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, November 22.
