Judge Parmelee, who presides in the district court, arrived in Basin from Sheridan on Monday, and the work of the court is being pushed rapidly along. There is a great deal of work to be done at this term and as the judge must be in Sundance by the 16th of May it is possible that the work in hand may not be completed before adjournment. The judge calls attention to the fact that little was accomplished last fall, owing to the great demands made upon his time by the work in Big Horn county. It is therefore essential that the work there be taken up as soon as possible, as there are important cases pending.
