W. C. Taylor of Denver. Colo., had rooms at the Kleemann Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Perrin returned Saturday from a months visit in Nebraska.
John A. Treber of Deadwood was looking after business in the city Wednesday.
E. C. Barney was a guest at the Kleemann Tuesday. He registered from Pierre.
Mark Booth and wife, of Hermosa spent Thursday and Friday in town on business.
F. Mark and daughter were guests at the Kleemann Wednesday. They registered from New York.
Frank McMahon left Tuesday evening for a visit with his father in Colorado. He may conclude to remain.
Norman T. Mason and wife and Chambers Kellar, of Deadwood, were in town Wednesday on legal business.
P. D. Darby of Omaha was in town Wednesday, Mr. Darby was at one time register of deeds of Custer county.
S. C. Lummis spent Sunday and Monday with his family in this city. He returned to Hot Springs Monday evening
Charles Edgerton, a prosperous stock man and rancher from near Fairburn, was transacting business at the county seat Saturday.
Mrs. W. F. Hanley, accompanied by her son and daughter, niece, Audie Carr. left Sunday evening for a visit with relatives and friends in Rapid City.
Miss Helen McMahon. teacher in the primary department of the Custer school. went to Rapid City Sunday evening to spend the summer with relatives and friends.
R. M. Greenlaw. of the United States census bureau, spent a few days in the city the forepart of the week. He left for Sioux Falls and Washington Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Benedict returned Thursday evening from Watertown, where they have been in attendance at the grand lodge session of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs,
Mrs. H. H. Baxter, who has been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lewis and Mrs. Bessie Burton for a week, departed Sunday evening for her home in Deadwood. Mrs. Burton accompanied her.
