HARPERTOWN

Stanley Sutton was here Monday night. He has enlisted in the U. S. Army for the Hawaiian Islands. Charley Taylor was here Sunday. C. N. Reed an ex service man has enlisted in the U. S. Army and gone to Fort Hoyleman. Clyde Plymale of Glady was in town Thursday. Lloyd Wilson of Dartmoor was in Elkins on business Saturday. Mumps are prevalent in our town. C. H. Bell of Elkwater was in town Saturday. Miss Dorothy Hart is out again from being housed for several days with a severe cold and sore throat. She used Dr. Myers remedy sold by our enterprising merchant H. J. Gainer. Our Sunday School is excellent.
