Flu Not to Spread.
Washington.—Reports to the United States Public Health Service indicate little danger of a recurrence of an epidemic of influenza in any of the thirty-five states from which the service receives regular weekly returns, it has been announced here. New York was the only state reporting a decided increase in influenza cases during recent weeks, and officials were inclined to attribute this largely to seasonal conditions which were said to have been conducive to an abnormal number of catarrhal cases.
