HAND INFECTED AFTER SCRAPED LLOYD DE LAP HAS THE SKIN SCRAPED OFF, AND INFECTION DEVELOPS THREATENINGLY IN INJURY.

Lloyd De Lap, son of County Clerk Charles R. De Lap, is suffering pain in his right hand as the result of an injury sustained in basketball playing at the Pavilion a few nights ago. The young man had the back of his right hand severely skinned, and infection developed in some manner, so that blood poisoning was threatened. Dr. Leo W. Chilton is attending to the injury, and the danger of a serious case is believed to have been averted.
