Full Text

Military Interference in Ohio.
A Louisville correspondent of the Chicago Times says:
"Notwithstanding the fact being well known to the military authorities that a great battle would be fought between Rosecrans and Bragg, they removed a number of troops that could have been sent to Rosecrans into Ohio, for the purpose of beating the exiled patriot, Clement L. Vallandigham. The outrages practised by the administration on the collective franchise in this state are too fresh in the memory of all to need repetition here, and I have the best evidence that the same game is to be resorted to in Ohio, unless the people of the old Buckeye state rise in their might and assert the majesty of the law. Soldiers are now being distributed throughout the different portions of Ohio where the Vallandigham voters are the most powerful, for no other purpose than to prevent the free men of that state from exercising the right of free suffrage."
