The annual Red Cross roll call opened in Montgomery County with an army of volunteer workers carrying on the drive under direction of 15 sectional chairman named by former Judge Donald A. DeLashmutt.
DeLashmutt, general chairman this year, said that while the county's quota has been increased to $3,000, because of the need for more funds, he was fully confident that the goal would be attained.
The drive is to be brought to a close on Thanksgiving day.
The sectional chairmen, who are working under Judge DeLashmutt, are:

Gray, Poolesville, Barnesville and Dickerson; Fred A. Kullmar, Kensington; Miss Pearl Marlow, Colesville; Mrs. Lester DuLaney, Clarksburg; Miss Sue L. Thomas, Olney.
