GOLF TALK HEARD DOWN IN DANIELSON

That talked-of plan to lease land to be developed as a golf course in the immediate vicinity of Danielson appears to have lost its impetus, at least temporarily. It is possible, nevertheless, that the many people who like golf, and the number here that play, is increasing steadily and will get at this matter within the next few weeks and probably work out some plan of action. At the present time the nearest golf course to Danielson is in Putnam, where numbers of local people play. A course at Woodstock also attracts a few. The matter of convenience for local players is the principal idea back of developing a course close to Danielson.

There are several properties suitable for the purpose, and some of them are available. The plan talked of is to lease the land, with a purchase option, and to develop the course gradually.--Danielson Correspondent in the Norwich "Bulletin."
