Mustering In.

Capt. Smith, of the 13th Infantry U. S. A., received orders yesterday to muster into the United States' service Col. Bussey's Cavalry regiment, and Col. Moore's N. E. Missouri regiment.

Col. Bussey has ordered five companies of his regiment to rendezvous at this place immediately. The other five will probably rendezvous at Bloomfield.

Capt. Sample's company assembled last night to take the oath. But as there was a difference of opinion between Capt. Smith and the members of the company, the matter was postponed till next Thursday. The members claimed that they had volunteered simply as Home Guards, their service to be limited to the border counties of Iowa and Missouri. Capt. Smith construed his instructions to limit their service to the States of Iowa and Missouri. In this diversity of opinion, it was concluded that Capt. Sample should go to St. Louis and have the matter cleared up. The men volunteered with the distinct understanding that they were not to be called out of the border counties.
