Second Semester Opens January 22- New Class Will Be Organized at the High School.
"A class for beginners will be organized in the high school building at the opening of the second semester, Monday, January 22, 1917," said Superintendent Hal G. Blue today. Continuing he said:
"It will be impossible to organize a beginners' class in either the Washington, Lincoln or the Bickel schools. This is because there is no available room. It is possible to secure a room in the High school building. and since the high school building is centrally located, it can best serve the whole district.
"Any child who will be six years of age on or before Monday. February 12, 1917, will be permitted to enter this class for beginners. Pupils who will be six years old after this date will need to wait until the beginning of the next school year in September.
"Rural patrons need have no hesitancy in sending children for this class because the children will be transported to and from the high school building. People who live in Twin Falls and who are some distance from the high school building need not hesitate to send their children, because every effort will be made to care for them in the best possible way. There will be a teacher in the building during the noon hour to look after them in case the parents wish to send lunches."
