Full Text

Sioux Falls Press, 5: According to the count of the tickets taken at the gates, the sale of season tickets, the sale of privileges on the grounds and what the city put up, the state fair board has about $12,000 with which to pay its premiums and other expenses, which it is calculated will not exceed $6,000. If this estimate, made by a member of the Sioux Falls citizens' committee, is anyway near correct, there is no likelihood that any claim upon the state fair association, whether for premiums or items of legitimate expense, need be discounted.
