GERMANS PRAISE WORK
OF AMERICAN RED CROSS

Washington, D. C., Dec. 1.—Gratitude
and praise for the work of the
American Red Cross in Germany are
expressed in a letter received today
at the Red Cross headquarters here
from Count Tallyrand-Perigard, who
was assigned by the German Red
Cross to cooperate with the American
surgeons and nurses while in Germany. It says in part:

"Your very kind letter just received
gives me a most welcome opportunity
of expressing, together with my sincerest thanks, how proud and happy
I have been to work with your Red
Cross units during their stay in Germany. Their skill and efficiency has
been beyond words of praise."
