Full Text

WILLIAMSBURG, April 9.

We are informed that the noted John Everly, Esquire, who though a Man of Fortune was lately transported into this Country for stealing Paper, died about three Days after his Arrival; and that five and twenty Hundred Pounds in Bank Notes, and fifty Guineas, were found in his Possession. From some Letters found about him, he appears to have been one of the greatest Miscreants that ever existed; he had lost a Leg, and was of a most rueful Figure, an Index, as it would seem, of the Depravity of his Heart.
