M'HOUSE ANNOUNCES FACULTY ADDITIONS

Eight teachers have joined the Morehouse faculty this year as additions or replacements. Mrs. Jacqueline Delobel-Brimmer, a native of France and a graduate of the University of Lille (France) with the Bachelor Lettres and the Licence es Lettres degrees, is replacing Dr. Julia Y. Lee (on leave this year) in the Department of Modern Foreign Languages as associate professor of French. Findlay Campbell, B.A., Morehouse; M.A., Atlanta University, with further graduate study at the University of Paris and the University of Chicago (where he is near the doctorate), has been added to the Department of English.

Anthony Cutler, B.A. and M.A. Cambridge University, England (Mr. Cutler is British), is an addition to the Department of Humanities.

Butler Henderson, B.A., Morehouse College; M.A., New York University, with considerable study toward the doctorate in economics and business administration, has been appointed Assistant to the President, a new post. William A. Johnson, B.A., Morehouse; M.S., Atlanta University, joins the staff in mathematics. William H. McCray, B.S., Morehouse; M.S., Atlanta University, has been added to the staff in chemistry. Lionel H. Newsome, B.A., Lincoln University (Missouri); M.A., University of Michigan; Ph.D., Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, replaces the late Mrs. Carrie Chivers in the Department of Sociology.

In physics, two part-time teachers are replacing Dr. Sabinus Christensen, who was jointly employed by Morehouse and Clark Colleges. These new persons are Dr. Henry C. Price, Jr., and Dr. Joseph S. Rosen. B.S. in chemical engineering, Washington University; M.S. in mathematics and physics, Washington University, from which he also holds the Ph.D. degree.
