Atlanta Leaders Oppose Powell Plan

ATLANTA, Ga., Feb. 27—In a night letter to Congressman Adam Clayton Powell, C. A. Scott, editor and general manager of the Atlanta Daily World said:
"I appreciate your concern about the Montgomery, Alabama situation but think plan for work stoppage would be unfair to innocent persons. Reports are that Governor Folsom and the U. S. Department of Justice are intervening in Montgomery problem and we believe this will result in a satisfactory solution."

Attorney A. T. Walden, local leader has also expressed a similar interest, stating that such a move as advocated by the famous Congressman
