Marathon Community Methodist Church today begins a two-weeks Daily Vacation Bible School which will continue through June 26. Children between the ages of 4 and 14 will attend, and classes will be held each morning, Monday through Friday, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be served between 10 and 10:30 a.m.

An interesting and instructive program has been planned, including songs, dramatizations, arts and crafts, games and lesson periods. Each of the four age groups will meet and work separately, and will assemble for a short period of group singing at the close of each daily session.

The four age groups are as follows: Beginners, pre-school children, four years old and up; Primaries—those who have finished first, second and third grades; Juniors—those who have finished fourth, fifth and sixth grades and Intermediates—those who have finished seventh, eighth and ninth grades.

Teachers and workers in the Vacation Bible School include Mrs. George Blaze, Miss Jean Kugler, Mrs. Webb Brainerd, Mrs. Gene Dull, Miss Georgie Zetterower, Mrs. Al Kunitz and Mrs. C. Gail Norris.

The School Director is Mrs. C. E. Crandell, Sr. Mrs. W. A. Parrish, Jr., is secretary and Mrs. Ennis Roesch the refreshment chairman.

On Friday morning, June 26, all parents and friends are invited to attend a closing session of the school, at which time a demonstration of accomplishments and skills will be given.
