Extract of a letter from Lisbon, Nov. 20.

Arrived the Free American, Capt. Dent, from Philadelphia, with a valuable cargo, bound for Amsterdam, under jury masts, and very leaky. She sailed from Philadelphia in company with the Franklin Merchant ship, of 240 tons, bound to Ostend, which was captured on the 16th of November by two Algerine cruisers, who sent her to Algiers, and boarded the Free-American, but finding the Captain an Englishman, and the ship and cargo English property, suffered her to go free."
