Two stowaway officers from the American Army in France were taken from a transport as it reached the dock in New York Monday, and placed on another eastbound transport for their return to France for trial. It is the second instance since the signing of the armistice, three other officers having stowed away on a transport bound homeward shortly after the armistice was signed. They, too, were marched down one gangplank and up another, making the round trip without more than just touching American soil.
