Full Text

Questionable.- Pat. Roney, after keeping sober for twelve months, got drunk last Friday, and having $51 in specie, in his pocket at the time, managed to get rid of $18 of it before the next morning. Yesterday morning, Pat appeared before the Mayor, and, on his oath, charged Mark Curry-the friend who took care of him, when he was too much obfuscated to take care of himself, and who saved his pocket book and $32 for him-with appropriating a part of the $51 to his own use. When this case comes up for investigation, there is very little doubt that 'Pat' will come out at the 'little end of the horn.'
