ANOTHER BURGLARY.—The residence of Dr. W. M. Hammond, opposite the Catholic Church, was entered on Friday, by thieves, who carried away three cases of surgical instruments of the finest quality, valued at several hundred dollars, an assortment of other surgical instruments, a set of britannia ware, a large quantity of wearing apparel, belonging to Mrs. Hammond, and various other articles. The loss will not fall short of $1,000. There is no clue to the perpetrators of this vile robbery, but it is hoped that the character of the articles stolen may lead to their detection. Truly, we have fallen upon evil times!
