The Louisville Courier brings us complete official returns of the late Congressional election in Kentucky, save from the little county of Letcher, which, by the way, says the Courier, does not send its vote in more than once in every five or six years. Our tables have been carefully revised, and we think will be found entirely accurate.
The total vote of the State is 113,473 against 154,014 cast last year. The Democratic majority over the Radicals is 46,042; over the third party 72,724; over both combined 41,353.
The Third party vote in the entire State, after all the vaporing, boasting and big talk of the consequential gentlemen composing it, amounted to the very insignificant number of 4,659. However, they had candidates in only five of the nine districts of the State, and under more favorable auspices, they might possibly poll one or two thousand more votes. If they organize thoroughly and make an earnest and energetic canvass from this time to August they may possibly be able to swell their votes so as to amount, in the aggregate, in the entire State, to 6,500 or 7,000.
The following is the vote by Congressional districts, and will be found useful for reference:
Total vote in 1867: 113,473
