The New Yellowstone Kiwanis club of Billings was guest of the Laurel Kiwanians Wednesday evening.
The new Yellowstone club is the "baby" club in the Montana district. Les Mooney, president of the Billings group, was in charge of the entertainment for the evening.
As the two groups had never before held an inter-club meeting, the program was devoted to introductions. Each member introduced himself and gave a brief autobiography.
It was found that a large majority of the members in attendance were natives of Minnesota and North Dakota; only four of the men present were natives of Montana.
The new Yellowstone club challenged the Laurel club to a soft ball game to be played at some time in the near future. The proceeds will be divided between the Key clubs sponsored by the two groups.
Willard Baldwin was appointed captain of the Laurel team and a committee was appointed to handle the necessary arrangements.
Though the program was spontaneous in nature, it was quite successful. Pres. Willard Baldwin presided at the meeting.
